Shannon brings to her artmaking life-long practices in dance, meditation, and a broad range of creative mediums. An abiding love of nature imbues her work with aliveness, sinuous lines and vibrant color play attuned to pulsing rhythms of motion and time. Her work integrates the sensuous branches of Madrona trees; her own handmade, multi-hued flax fiber paper; extruded copper; and an eco-friendly, transparent medium. The current series, Spiritus Naturalis, explores the dynamic convergence of landscape and animate forms.
