After a 30-year career as a professional chef, a 2023 workshop on Orcas Island sparked a deep obsession with clay. My pottery is heavily influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement—embracing raw beauty and craftsmanship in a way that mirrors the "farm-to-fork" culinary philosophy.
Now pursuing a Mastery of Ceramic Arts with The Ceramic School in Austria, I am honing my porcelain throwing and glaze techniques, using the landscapes and wildlife of the San Juan Islands as my muse.
